HOUSE PENHA LONGA

The project begins from an existing house marked by spatial confusion and fragmented volumes, where shifting levels and complex roof forms blur the clarity of the whole. The intervention distills and reorganizes these elements, redefining the volumes to recover calm, coherence, and architectural legibility.

Inside, the layout unfolds into more generous and fluid spaces, allowing light and movement to flow naturally toward the surrounding gardens and strengthening the dialogue between interior and exterior.

The renewed architectural expression embraces a restrained palette of earthy tones, where materiality, proportion, and sobriety evoke balance and quietness, enabling the house to settle gently into its landscape and establish a subtle, contemplative relationship with nature.
