A light wood cabin is nestled on top of a floating slab, creating an external but covered area, from where the stairs to the tree-house unfold. Just as the ones we built in our childhood.

The slab is of the right size and height to balance the connection of the house with the surrounding forest, the view of themountain range, and the needed privacy, creating also the traditional balcony around the tree house.

Settled at an altitude that connects the house with the outside space, the concrete slab leaves the forest free to grow and continue its course below.
